No Tobacco Use Condition of Employment

Each Fire Department that limits tobacco use has their own set of language describing the limitations.  As a generic summary, the restrictions may be similar to:

From the date of hire, I will not smoke, chew, or use any tobacco product(s) on or off duty during my duration of employment. Furthermore, if I do smoke, chew, or use any tobacco product(s) at any time while employed with the department, I will be subject to dismissal for cause.

You will be asked to sign an agreement form within the application that reflects your agreement to the specific Fire Department’s Tobacco Policy upon hire.

The above conditions apply to the to all of the Fire Departments in this year’s consortium except Green Bay Metro FD.
